Yesterday while at work I get a text from Jearen asking if we could talk. He was in Denver for his friend's graduation from the Air Force. Well he called and asked if I wanted to go on a date that night (his flight was getting in at 6:45 pm, so we would meet around 7:30). I said sure, and we decided to go to Sundance Square. I stinkin' love that place! So after I got off work at 5, and printed directions since I was driving there alone for the first time, I went home and got ready a.s.a.p. I had to leave at 6 if I was going to make it there by 7:30. I leave town, feeling good, looking good, and listening to a fun shuffle mix on my zune. As I was driving these huge clouds were in the sky, and I kept checking them out in my rearview mirror. Luckily, they were headed in a different direction than I was. I pass Granbury, then Benbrook, then I was in Ft. Worth following that handy piece of paper. The sky cleared up by this time, and I knew it was gonna be a good night. I take my exit and get on I-35. Well about 4 miles down 35, I had the worst creeper experience! I know I joke alot about being a creeper in pictures and stuff, but having someone creep on you in real life, is well...CREEPY! This guy in the car in front of me was checking me out through his left hand rearview mirror. He was staring at me and had a smerk on his face. I was getting soo annoyed! There was a lot of traffic, so I was stuck behind his car for the time being. I finally mouth the word "stop" like 2 times. Then I stared him down and said "NO" and shook my head side to side. He, being the creeper that he was, mouthed the word "YES" and shook his head up and down. I was disgusted, so dodging traffic, I sped up and passed him. UGH!!!
I continue down the road, and finally reach my destination- Sundance Square! I felt successful. I think I even screamed like a little girl for a second or two from excited. Ok, I did, no need to think about it! Jearen texted me and told me he was going to be a little late, so I called my sister Kim and told her the creeper story. Then we talked about Jon & Kate Plus 8. Sad. I walked over to Barnes & Noble and hung out in there while I waited for Jearen. Finally, I went back outside and a few minutes later he walked up. Poor boy, sunburnt all over. We walked over to this Tex-Mex restaurent that I wanted to try called Cabo Grande. He said that there was mixed reviews about the place, and the service wasn't good. We checked it out for ourselves, and the reviews were pretty much right. It was nice being in there though because it wasn't crowded. Well, there was a loud table of old people, and one guy reminded me of Lila's dad/car dealer from "Friday Night Lights." After talking a LOT with Jearen over dinner, we then walked around the square. We had planned on seeing a movie, but because it was already late, we opted out of going. We went to Barnes & Noble and got a book for each of us. Its a book on Christian Relationship. One is called For Women Only. The other is called For Men Only. I'm glad we're going to read this together and discuss what we learn. I love you!
Then we walked and realized that they were having a movie in the park. It was this huge screen playing Rattatoie, and the whole parking lot was filled with lawnchairs and families enjoying a movie outside. We joined in on the fun. Oh man, it was soooooooooo pretty! I sat there, and saw the big screen, but behind that was the skyline of downtown, the lights, and the moon. I LOVED it! I wish I had a fancy camera to capture it! We only got to see like 30 mins of the ending of the movie, so after that we walked around a little more, then talked some more. The night ended with us saying our goodbyes and stalling on leaving. lol. It was a fun date!! Now I get to look forward to Saturday- we're going to a Ranger Game :)

- Jesus has blessed me with a joyful life. I married my best friend on July 10th, 2010, I help with a new church in Keller called RealChurch, and I am an assistant Preschool Teacher. My life may be pretty average, but I feel it's worth sharing and bragging on God for all he's done and going to do!

RANGER/YANKEE GAME (Memorial Day)

What a long, but great day! It started super early (8ish) when I got up and ready to go with my family to the Memorial Day service at a cemetary in town. I'm glad I live in a small enough town that I get to be apart of honoring those in/were in the armed forces. After the service we ate a breakfast at the DFW, then we were on our way to Arlington. Whoooa, hold that thought. It took a lot longer to leave town than I had expected. I was asked to drive my Aunt's Honda Pilot since I was more familiar with the metroplex. I love driving SUV's! (Nissan Sentra- I still love driving you too!!) We got to the Ballpark in Arlington around 12:40, and the game started at 1. It was PACKED!! I loved the being around all the fans. It was really hot & sunny, but we were fortunate enough to be in the shade, the whole time! We had a whole row to just my family. It was great. My uncle & cousins are full blooded Yankee fans. The rest of us are Cardinal fans. My brothers and I yelled for both teams just to keep the heckaling alive in our section. Cody said something really funny, "Baseball is really just about syncronize clapping!" Seriously, every 2 minutes we were clapping to some song. The game itself wasn't very intense, with the final score being 11-1 Yankees. I loved being with my family & being apart of America's Favorite Pasttime! Oh, and so did 48,000 other people. After the game we drove to Springcreek BBQ in Granbury, and Noah & Justice had a dance off in the restaurant--very funny! Then we came home, and I went with my friends to see Night at the Musuem-Battle of the Smithsonian. It was funny!! What a great Memorial Day!

JESUSCULTURE 09

Wow, Jesus Culture was extreme! The worship was powerful, the messages spoke deep to me, and the miracles that took place were incredible. I'm not sure I could capture everything in a blog, but i'll give the short of it all. The first night people in the crowd were healed of blood dieases, sport injuries were healed, back problems were healed, and more. Day 2- people with feet problems were healed, hips were healed, stomach problems were healed, acne scares were healed, and so much more! God shows his love through healing and isn't a respecter of persons. He heals the beleiver & the non-believer! It's so cool. I was in tears just being able to witness it all. Seriously, God is the COOLEST EVER! It blows my mind to think of all the does. It's like through his miracles, he is a breakdancer just showing off his skills. Just doing what he loves. He wants everyone to be healed! His will should be done on earth AS IT IS IN HEAVEN! In Heaven there are no sicknesses, no pain, no broken hearts, and so should it be here on earth! In the afternoon we did a City Invasion and groups went to different malls in the DFW area, and the testimonies we heard when we met back up that night were so dang cool. Everyone needs a touch from God, and thats what the City Invasion was all about, sharing God's blessings!
The messages:
The Jesus You See is the Jesus You'll Be.
Think about it. If the Jesus you see is just a man who died years ago, you will only be a man who believes in some past story. If the Jesus you see is a powerful, miracle worker, you will operate under his power and miracles.
[Luke 5:17-26]
A day of revival of Jesus Christ.
Culture of truth & culture of power (teaching truth & ministering miracles)
"I'm not trying to create my own Jesus. I'm looking at a true Jesus and allowing him to change me."- Nolan Clark. The disciples loved the doctrine & also saw miracles. There is tension in the bible- for example we getto have a friendship with God, yet we also should fear him. He is the lion, yet also a lamb. It's the same Jesus, just a different picture. You might not understand it, but you have to embrace it. We need transforming truth & present power. You take away miracles, and Christianity is really nothing. Jesus' birth was a miracle, his death was a miracle. You becoming a Christian is not a natural thing. Miracles are truth revealed. A Jesus Culture is a culture of faith. Faith is Jesus focused. Faith was tested in the bible. People of faith have obstacles, have let downs, but they continue till they get through it. A Jesus Culture is a culture where God is glorified.
The beginning of the ministry of Jesus.
[Luke 4]
When you go into a ring, you have to know the seriousness of the sport. If you don't understand conflict, you don't understand Christianity. Jesus was tempted, so there's no shame in facing the battle, it's because you are anointed and the devil is scared. Temptation comes to everyone, even at your holiest moment.
This is all just a piece of what happened over the weekend! God is incredible, times 1000!

Jesus Culture Bound
In less than an hour, I will be on the road with my two good friends Alexa & Jahda to drive to Grand Prarie. For what? Oh, just this thing I've been looking forward to for a while called JESUS CULTURE!! It's a conference set up to empower college age students and the like about the power of Jesus, and how it is still very real today. By that I mean healings, signs and wonders! Throughout this past year I have personally seen people get healed by prayer and faith, and it is incredible. I hope to be see more of that this weekend. Not only will the messages be good, but the band of JESUS CULTURE is amazing. I've been a fan all year, so I know hearing it live will be exciting! There music is powerful, and I actually like it better than Hillsong right now. Visit their myspace page www.myspace.com/jesusculture
I'm excited to be able to share what all God does this weekend through this conference! Pray for safety there & back.
